Pages
Pages will appear as tabs. You can create a page for each class you teach.
In the dashboard, select Manage, then select Pages.
If you want a static page, select Discussion and uncheck both boxes: Allow Comments and Allow Pings.
If you want to allow comments, you will want to moderate the comments.
