I have been an educator for 22 years. I have taught grades K-12; I have a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities and certification in Elementary Education, Special Education K-12, and Math, 6-9. For the past three years I have taught math in the Upper School at Cary Academy in Cary, NC. Cary Academy became a tablet school in 2006, and I have learned a tremendous amount about technology. I am now moving to New Bern, NC, and I will be returning to the public school arena. I am intrigued by Web 2.0, especially because it levels the playing field for all students.
